Race and Hollywood: SNL Hires Black Comedienne

January 7, 2014 – Sasheer Zamata has been hired as the first female African American performer on Saturday Night Live in five years. A talent search followed complaints last fall about the cast’s lack of diversity. Zamata makes her debut January 18.  To read the full story, Click Here.
